About Petersham Rugby

Rugby, since 1883.

Since our club’s founding, way back in 1883, Petersham RUFC has always been at the heart of grass roots rugby in Australia.

We we part of Australia’s first ever junior rugby competition, are being founding members of what is now the NSW Suburban Rugby Union, and introduced our inaugural women’s rugby team in 2022.

We’ve won Subbies Rugby’s biggest prize, the Kentwell Cup, on four occasions, and through it all we’ve held fast to the true spirit of rugby.
